ENVIS is an information management system focussed at collection; collation, storage, retrieval and dissemination of environmental information through a network of subject oriented centers. The CII - ENVIS center is a medium of online interaction between the industry and the government, forging a better understanding of the needs and concerns of industry apart from catalysing effective response measures from the government. CII - ENVIS center is indeed, yet another effective tool for strengthening the industry government partnership.
